Box Office & Ticketing
Concerts are free unless otherwise noted. Please check the listings carefully. If you have any questions, please contact us at 216.795.3211.
Tickets & Box Office Hours: Tickets for paid events or seating passes can be purchased online, in person or by calling the CIM Box Office. The box office is open from 10am-3pm Monday-Friday. If your party requires handicap accessible seating, please let the box office associate know. Online ticketing will be disabled at 3pm on the day of the concert. The box office re-opens one hour prior to each concert for will call and walk up sales. Phones will not be answered during this time.
Payment: CIM accepts VISA, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, cash or check made payable to the Cleveland Institute of Music. A $1 non-refundable processing fee is charged for each ticket purchased with a credit card, up to $5 maximum fee per transaction. All sales are final. No refunds. If you cannot attend a concert please call the box office.
Seating Passes: Free seating passes are required for faculty and chamber orchestra concerts in Mixon Hall. Passes can be reserved beginning one week prior to the concert date by calling the box office or by going to cim.edu.

CIM accepts all major credit cards, cash, and checks made out to the Cleveland Institute of Music. There is a $1 fee on each ticket when you use a credit card.

We only mail our opera tickets. There is no fee for mailing, and we stop mailing tickets a week from the performance. You also have the option to leave your tickets at Will-Call.
Will-Call is when you chose to leave your tickets in the hands of the box office, and come and pick them up before the concert that evening. Seating pass reservations are automatically sent to will-call. Opera tickets have the option of being mailed.
Will-Call opens one hour prior to the concert start time. At this time patrons can pick up their tickets, or buy tickets at the door. Please note that phone calls will not be answered during this time.
No. All sales are final. If you cannot attend a concert, please call the box office and they can send you a letter for a tax deductible donation for the ticket price.
Yes! Provided we have 48 hours’ notice, you can call the box office and exchange seats for another night of the same opera. Please note that the same seats are not guaranteed.

Seating passes can only be reserved a week before the concert. When that date is reached the tickets can be reserved online, over the phone or in person.
